Obituary for Gwendolyn Winnifred Rutledge (Barker)
Gwendolyn W. Rutledge
1921 – 2017
Gwendolyn, late of Estevan, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017 at Crocus Plains Villa, Weyburn, SK at the age of 96 years.
Gwen is survived by her children, Max “Butch” (Jackie) Rutledge of Carlyle, SK, Bill (Sandi) Rutledge of White Court, AB, Vicky Farnsworth of Langley, BC, Robin (Willie) Kofoed of Estevan, SK and Holly Rutledge of Weyburn, SK; 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.
Gwen was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Fanny Barker; husband Maxwell Rutledge.
In keeping with Gwen’s wishes there will be no service. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Oxbow Cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 4545 Parliament Avenue Regina, SK, S4W 0G3.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
