Condolence: My prayers are for those who remain. Louis has always been a pillar of strength and steady stalwart faith. A man I have respected and valued as he shared his wisdom with the youth of my day. He always valued people which was a gift that some may not have recognized. I am sure he will be missed. The Lord granted him many good years and we have all benefited in some way from that gift of life from above.

Condolence: Dear Ruth, Mom, Uncle Barry and everyone I'm not able to see tomorrow.

I'm very sorry that I'm not able to be there with all of you. From his (I still suspect feigned) cries of delight and surprise when a jelly bean fairy would drop bags of candy in my path on my way to school as a boy, to fixing my tie as I readied myself for my high school graduation, to quiet words of guidance and support when I needed them, my memories of Grandpa are all marked by the warmth that, in my mind at least, defined him. I wish that I could be there tomorrow to lend some of that love and support, in Grandpa's finest tradition.

Love,

- Nelson

Condolence: My condolences, Ruth and family! I am sure you don't remember me but I have always treasured my memories of you as my favorite nurse when I had my babies. You showed me all your fabulous pettipoint as I finished my last cross stitch wreath with my third baby. She died of SIDS 5 months later. I have been blessed to cross paths with you from time to time and I always make sure to tell you...thank you for been such an amazing nurse! Hugs.....

Condolence: to Ruth, Donna, Barry & families ... our sincere sympathies to you in your time of loss.

Our most recent visit to Estevan (a year or two ago) included a very pleasant visit with "Uncle Louis" at the Chapel following our Sun. morning worship time.

And there are so many great memories of your dad/husband from my growing up years in Estevan ... visits to your home, Boys Brigade, and more.

His gentle, cheerful way was an obvious display of his deep faith in Christ.
